We will show one painting of his new series and offer a special drink.
For the first time the exhibition house HAUNT will open the doors to give a primal glimpse on the building, the yard and the garden at Kluckstraße 23 – 10785 Berlin.
The whole estate was a former education centre for the park management of the City of Berlin. As this place was abandoned for over six years, time literally stood still. In some niches and cracks nature started to take over again, the architecture represents long gone visions of modernity in the 70ies and the regular noise and activities of the streets seemed to be reduced by corona pandemic consequences and blocked by surrounding buildings. The whole areal breathes slowly, but nevertheless indicates potential to be activated with the snap of a finger, like during a light siesta nap. Now artists will explore the new opened ground and position their works in various constellations within this decelerated environment. HAUNT is run by the art collective frontviews. Our members look forward to welcome you at this first preview. Due to the corona security conditions, there will be no single opening, just a steady presence, respiration and interchange during the opening times of the whole four days. Please wear your masks inside the building.
